Director, Business Development

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business development strategy to increase revenue, merchant acquisition, and market share.
• Identify and negotiate new partnerships with banks, payment systems, fintech companies, merchants, and other strategic partners.
• Lead new product and market expansion initiatives from commercial discussion through implementation.
• Manage the business development and sales pipeline, including targets, forecasts, and performance reporting.
• Prepare commercial proposals, business cases, pricing models, and partnership terms.
• Coordinate with product, IT, finance, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure successful launch of new projects.
• Maintain relationships with key partners and identify opportunities to expand existing cooperation.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments relevant to the payments and fintech sector.
• Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, conferences, and industry events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field.
• Strong English proficiency
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, banking, fintech, payments, or a related sector.
• Strong understanding of payment services, acquiring, POS, QR payments, banking, or fintech products is preferred.
• Proven experience in partnership development and commercial negotiations.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally.
• Fluent English and Russian; Kyrgyz is an advantage.
